Just when I thought most Nashville area real estate buyers were on the fence, I had the opportunity to represent a ready, willing and financially able buyer to bring one of many offers on a house that was recently listed. Yes, multiple offers can happen even in this slow market! The Nashville TN area real estate market shifted to a buyer's market probably about July of 2007 and has remained sluggish with this past summer being unusually boring. So what would cause a home to bring multiple offers and have 21 showings in one week? It's just a combination of price and condition. This Nashville home has been very well cared for and nicely updated plus the price was set slightly below market value. KUDOS to the listing agent! This is a great example of what a knowledgeable real estate agent can do... get your home sold quickly, for a good price, with the least hassle!

Good for that listing agent. I had the same thing with my last sale. Four offers and SOLD in 21 days. More on that one when it closes next week.
I put my home up for sale July 1 and had it sold and closed by July 30! I had a great Realtor (ME of course) and I did everything she said I should do. Staged, cleaned, lights and music for showings...
Had competing offers in less than a week and a sale at 99.5% of list price closed in 3 weeks. I am my own poster child for doing it by the book!
Tiffany,
Interesting post, making me ready for those days again. Had multiple offers on one occasion, a one day sale and very grateful clients.
